Apple Bliss Ball Recipes

Hey lovely LUSGirls!

I don't know about you but we love to snack, especially on bliss balls. Now not all snacks are healthy or have benefits for your skin, some can actually harm your skin. So to tackle this problem we have a great recipe for a yummy bliss ball that has the extra benefit of helping your skin! 

The main ingredient for this bliss ball is Apples! Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. The antioxidants in apples may help reduce the risk of multiple diseases and is beneficial for your health. "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away." So as you head out to the orchard this fall, stock up to make this delish recipe:

Healthy Apple Bliss Balls

Ingredients:

3/4 cups (96g) apples roughly chopped

1 cup (128g) rolled oats

3/4 cup (96g) shredded coconut

1/4 cup (32g) coconut oil

1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

1/4 cup (32g) pre-soaked cashew

Step 1. Use a food processor or blender (with an adults help!) and add all the ingredients. Mix until almost smooth and well combined.

Step 2. Roll the balls into whatever size you want, we recommend 1.5 tablespoon sizes. Place all the balls onto a tray and pop into the fridge or freezer. Try to leave on an hour or longer so they are really firm.
